This was a really enjoyable story. I really liked your characterisations of Jim and Bones. Is it wrong that I loved how broken they both were and how hesitant they were to resume what they once had? All the trials and tribulations they went through as they each tried to piece their lives back together again, perhaps only realising later, that some of their pieces connected.

I enjoyed how you wove others from the ST universe into the story, especially the on-going drama between Sulu and Chekov.

I haven't read the other comments yet but I wonder if others said what I was thinking: that I'd love to see the scene of Bones fulfilling his private fantasy of getting Jim out of his uniform, piece by piece. :)
