Any ideas on how to takeover an empire? :P Dammit, I'm a biologist, not a historian!

I know the like first half of the story, just not like the climax and how it ends. Because of this it's already started I just...have no idea how to finish it so I don't know when it'll be finished. (That made sense in my head.)
