Real life events make the best fodder for plots. I have a suggestiong, but before I make it, let me remind you that there are a few archives/comms that have "adopt a plot bunny" sections. Why don't you visit some and see if something jumps out at you to use "as is" or as a springboard for another idea.


Here's mine:

Why don't you think about making Bones a part of the
organization, "Doctors Without Borders" and Kirk is a pilot who lives in what ever war-torn, foriegn country you want to make up. The country is whatever you want it to be, the same as if you were writing a space adventure and they end up in some hostile/paradise of a planet.

The specific plot possibilities are ENDLESS with this.
Lots of hurt comfort as well as romance and action adventure for those two as they save each other's lives, get to know one another and fall in love.



You've been very honest and upfront about the fact that you are having difficulty coming up with a plot and it was a plea for a little help. I hope some of those great writers out there offered some suggestions.
