Title: This Ominous Bird of Yore
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: Dean/Sam
Word Count: 15,295
Warnings: Wincest, S4 spoilers
Prompts: [livejournal.com profile] 10_inspirations prompt a bridge too far and [livejournal.com profile] spn_halloween #1, "Something is making ravens flock to a small town in the Northeast. At first they'd just shared the town with the people, but now that Halloween is coming, they've started attacking, and it's up to Sam and Dean to figure out what's going on."
Summary: Sam and Dean find themselves in Reynolds, Maine - a town that seems to have fallen victim to a 160 year old curse with famous roots.

Author's Note: Takes place between 4x04 Metamorphosis and 4x05 Monster Movie. Thanks so much [livejournal.com profile] lostandalone22 for the beta!

It was strange, he had to admit, sitting in a booth at a diner across from his brother again. )

Title: Mercy
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 11,171
Prompt: [livejournal.com profile] spn_halloween #9, "There is a supernatural serial killer on the loose, but due to previous pranks, the police don't believe the boys, and John is MIA."
Summary: En route to a potential hunt, Dean and Sam are forced to stop for a while as Sam's visions manifest themselves in an entirely new way, forcing them in the direction of a supernatural being and not letting them leave until it's taken care of.

Author's Note: This story takes place between 1x19 Provenance and 1x20 Dead Man's Blood. Due to the lack of a definite timeline, I'm saying Provenance was in August or September with Dead Man's Blood in late October.

For [livejournal.com profile] arabella_hope because it's all her fault and [livejournal.com profile] pandoraiam because she supplied me with all the sites I used for research.

With a hard punch on the shoulder Sam was startled awake, a crick in his neck and the right side of his face feeling numb from the way he'd ended up sleeping against the window. )
